Our Website allows users to buy classes, class packages, sign up for classes, sign up for courses, buy merchandise, and communicate with EastWesticism Inc (d/b/a EASTWESTICISM) (“EASTWESTICISM”).
STATEMENT ABOUT PRIVACY, PERSONAL DATA, COMMUNICATIONS
If you use the Website, the responsibility for keeping the confidentiality of your account and password, and for protecting access to your computer or device lies with you. You consent to accept responsibility for activities that happen in regards your account and password.
When you are on the Website or interacting with EASTWESTICISM by email, you are doing so electronically. You hereby agree to get communications from EASTWESTICISM electronically. EASTWESTICISM may interact with you by email or by notifying you on the Website. You understand and consent that any agreements, notices, disclosures and interactions that EASTWESTICISM provides electronically fulfill all legal requirements that such interactions be in writing.
USER PROVIDED INFORMATION
EASTWESTICISM doesn’t gather personal information about users – such as names, postal codes, home addresses, and emails – except when that information is intentionally provided to EASTWESTICISM. Personal information might be obtained from online transactions such as class and class package purchases, retail purchases, and/or class registrations. Additionally, personal information may be transmitted as part of a form submission or in connection with other activities or services made available on the Website. Any personal identification information retrieved by EASTWESTICISM must be voluntarily submitted by the user.
EASTWESTICISM may use the information provided to contact you with important information, required notices, and marketing promotions. You may choose any time to opt out of any notices (other than ones required by law, rule or regulation) by choosing to do so at the bottom of every email you g from us or by sending an email to us directly.
AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED INFORMATION
Our Website does collect some anonymous user information automatically when users request pages in a browser. This information is keeps track of the shopping cart and helps us monitor how users use our Website, which lets EASTWESTICISM provide a better experience and better service through our online offerings. The information collected automatically by the server does not contain anything that can identify individuals personally, such as an email or home address.
SECURITY STATEMENT
EASTWESTICISM works to ensure all the purchases that happen on our Website are safe and secure. Credit card numbers and transactions are protected using 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. We are very cautious about safeguarding the privacy of your data. We protect the information we process and maintain with physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards. For example, access to this information is limited to authorized personel and contractors who need to know information in order to operate or improve the Website. Please note, although we strive to provide reasonable security for the data we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential breaches.
WHAT IS A SECURE CONNECTION?

If you buy EASTWESTICISM classes or packages of classes, sign up for EASTWESTICISM classes, or buy EASTWESTICISM retail products, the required personal information (similar to what’s given for a phone or mail order purchase) will be used to finish your purchase.
If you indicate that you are interested in receiving EASTWESTICISM related news and information, you may receive emails to the email address you provided as part of the registration process.
Aggregate data may be analyzed to describe the collective characteristics and behaviors of Website users, and could then be used for further optimization and improving the effectiveness of the Website and overall EASTWESTICISM experience.
You can help EASTWESTICISM maintain the accuracy of your personal information by updating your account. Please update this information when you change your address, phone number, or email address. EASTWESTICISM will never share telephone numbers, email addresses, or any personal data with third parties.
EASTWESTICISM reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders, at its sole discretion.
PRIVACY OF MINORS
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must be involved to register and use the Website. EASTWESTICISM does not accept the online registration of minors; please do not attempt to register on the Website if you are under the age of 18. Registration of minors (ages 12-17) must be done at one of our studios with a parent or guardian present.
If EASTWESTICISM discovers that personal information has been submitted by a minor without parent or guardian approval, EASTWESTICISM reserves the right to delete such information. EASTWESTICISM does not seek or share personal information from minors throughout the Website.
RESERVATIONS/CHARGES
To make reservations, you must first purchase a single class or a package of classes (multiple classes). To purchase a class or package of classes online, either sign up on the Website with your email and create a password, or if you’re already registered, click login to buy classes, packages, and make reservations.
Please be aware that classes and packages expire. Future prices may change. Accepted forms of payments are MasterCard, Visa, and American Express. Cash payments can only be performed at an EASTWESTICISM studio.
Your credit/debit card will be charged for your order when your class or package is purchased. EASTWESTICISM will not process reservation charges that use an incorrect, expired, or over-the-limit credit card. We will try to contact you if that occurs. If you don’t pay any of the fees or charges when due, services and privileges may be suspended or even terminated. You shall be responsible and liable for any fees, including attorneys’ fees and collection costs, that EASTWESTICISM may incur in its efforts to collect any unpaid balances from you.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In order to cancel a spot reserved in a EASTWESTICISM class and return the class to your EASTWESTICISM account, you must cancel within 5 hours of such class. If you haven’t cancelled within 5 hours of your class, the class will not be returned to your EASTWESTICISM account, you will be charged for the class, and you will not be issued a refund.
You can cancel your reservation in the following ways: 1) Log into your account and, next to the class you wish to cancel, press “unreserve.” 2) Call EASTWESTICISM to cancel the class for you. FOR PARTICIPANTS RUNNING LATE: Please call to let us know. We will hold your spot in the class for up to 5 minutes once class begins. Participants who are over 5 minutes late might not be admitted into class if it’s deemed too disruptive. FOR PARTICIPANTS LEAVING EARLY: If you plan to leave early, we kindly request that you tell us ahead of time and sit near the back of the studio.
WAIVER AND RELEASE
By signing up for and/or attending classes, events, activities, and other programs and using the premises, facilities and equipment or any other location or venue where EASTWESTICISM is providing services (individually or collectively, the “Classes” and “Facilities”), you hereby acknowledge on behalf of yourself, your heirs, personal representatives and/or assigns, that there are certain inherent risks and dangers in association with the Classes and Facilities. You understand that some risks cannot be eliminated regardless of the effort taken to avoid injuries. You will comply with all stated and customary conditions, posted safety signs, rules, and instructions given to you by our staff. If the EASTWESTICISM staff thinks you would be at mental or physical risk by participating in EASTWESTICISM’s Classes, you understand and consent that access may be denied to the Classes and Facilities, until you furnish an opinion letter from a medical doctor, at your sole cost and expense, specifically addressing EASTWESTICISM’s concerns and stating that EASTWESTICISM’s concerns are unfounded. In consideration for taking part in and access to the Classes and Facilities, you (1) agree to assume full responsibility for any and all injuries or damage which are sustained or aggravated by you in relation to Classes and Facilities, (2) release, indemnify, and hold harmless EASTWESTICISM and its officers, directors, members, employees, representatives, and agents, and each respective successors and assigns and others, from any and all responsibility, claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities to the fullest extent allowed by law stemming any way from participation in the Classes or the using of our Facilities, and (3) represent that you (a) have no medical or physical condition that would prevent you from properly using any of EASTWESTICISM’s Classes or Facilities, (b) do not have a physical or mental condition that would put you in any physical or medical danger, and (c) have not been told by a physician not to participate in meditation or similar classes.
LINKS/THIRD PARTY WEBSITES
EASTWESTICISM has not reviewed all the sites linked to the Website, and is not responsible for the content or any off-site pages or other linked sites. Although a 3rd party website and/or app might display the EASTWESTICISM logo, please understand that it is independent from EASTWESTICISM, and EASTWESTICISM has no control over the content of that website and/or app.
Going to 3rd party or off-site websites from EASTWESTICISM is done so at your own risk. These links don’t indicate endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with EASTWESTICISM.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
The trademarks and trade dress of EASTWESTICISM are proprietary to EASTWESTICISM and may not be used by you for any reasons other than as expressly permitted by these terms. You have the right to view, electronically copy, and print portions of EASTWESTICISM for the sole purpose of making reservations, purchases, or other personal use.
Any other use of Website materials, including modifying, distributing, or reproducing for purposes other than those written above, without the prior written authorization of EASTWESTICISM, is not allowed.
You acknowledge that EASTWESTICISM and/or third party content providers remain the owners of all Website materials, and that you do not acquire any of those ownership rights by downloading, copying, or using any of these materials as is in accordance with these Terms. EASTWESTICISM may cease or take down the Website, or a portion of it, or cease your right to use EASTWESTICISM, or a portion of it, any time.
NOT AUTHORIZED TO PERFORM DATA MINING
You are not authorized without the prior written permission of EASTWESTICISM to use any computer code, data mining software, “robot,” “bot,” “spider,” “scraper” or other automatic device, or program, algorithm or method with similar processes or functionalities, or manual process also, to monitor or copy any web pages, data or content on EASTWESTICISM or accessed through EASTWESTICISM. In addition, you may not mass-download files from EASTWESTICISM; use computer processing power of EASTWESTICISM for reasons other than what’s permitted above; flood EASTWESTICISM with electronic traffic in order to slow or stop its operation; or establish links to or from other websites to EASTWESTICISM.

INDEMNITY
You hereby agree to defend, indemnify and hold EASTWESTICISM and any third party licensors and agents harmless from, and you covenant not to sue EASTWESTICISM or any third party licensors and agents for, any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including, without being limited to, attorneys’ fees) from or related to (a) your negligence, error, omission or deliberate misconduct, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your use of EASTWESTICISM.
CHOICE OF LAW
The Website and your use hereof is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to New Jersey’s choice of law provisions. Any claim arising out of your use of this Website must be brought in New Jersey.
POLICY CHANGES
Occasional changes may be made to this document as new services and content are added to the Website to reflect changes in EASTWESTICISM’s policies. These Terms may change at any time by revising this post. By using EASTWESTICISM, you agree to be binded by such revisions. Users of EASTWESTICISM are encouraged to check here periodically to stay aware of current privacy guidelines.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By using the Website, you signify your acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree to this, please refrain from using the Website. Your continued use of EASTWESTICISM following the posting of updates to these Terms indicates your acceptance of those revisions.
EXPIRATION DETAILS
*Single Class Credits, Courses and Events expire 30 days from transaction date. *Class Packages expire 90 days after the transaction date.
CLASSES & EVENTS
All classes, sound baths, and event packages are non-refundable unless a class or event is cancelled by EASTWESTICISM. If you cancel your attendance at a class prior to the 5 hour cancellation window, that class/event credit will return to your account for future use. If you cancel attendance less than 5 hours before class, you will forfeit that credit.
MEMBERSHIPS
All membership packages are non-refundable.
RETAIL
Unused merchandise will be accepted for a full refund within seven days of purchase. After seven days, store credit will be given for up to 30 days. No returns without a receipt.
